I would first like to thank my mother and father for being the best supporters a parent can be. They have taught me to love, share, and care for every soul no matter who they are or where they came from. I was blessed with parents who were not afraid to hug and kiss their child. The power of touch was brought early into my life from them and now I share it with you.
Health has been a big part of my life ever since my third year of college. Maintaining focus in class was difficult. It was always an issue even through grade school and high school. I went to see a psychologist. The doctor claimed that I had a small form of ADD. He wanted to put me on Wellbutrin. So, I did for a couple of weeks but it never felt right. I thought to myself am I going to have to take a drug for the rest of my life. It did not make sense. There had to be a more natural way to make my body work right.
At this point I was in Massage School in Chicago, IL. A classmate told me of this wonderful Oriental Medical Doctor in China Town. First thing she said to me was to stop eating dairy. She gave me a whole new diet and some herbs. So, I gave it a chance. A world with out dairy in the United States is hard. Everything I ate had dairy in it, especially living in Chicago. It took discipline but I new that I wanted to be focused enough to be able to read through an entire book. In just a few weeks I noticed a difference. There was real clarity in my thinking.

From that day forward I realized how important alternative medicine is to me and the rest of the world. Massage is one of those important alternatives. If you are having trouble with anxiety, stress and the weight of everyday life, there is another solution. Change your life style, eat the right foods, and receive the power of touch. It will help your body release the things that it needs to make you happy. I sometimes wonder why in the USA we call Alternative Medicine, "Alternative". It should be the other way around. We should look to the natural ways of curing first.
