About

Whitefish Massage Therapy practices an integrated and wholistic therapeutic approach to massage. We are client centered and work with each individual to optimize your experience, restoring balance, assisting in healing and release of tension for each session.

Jen Elden, LMT, RYT

A typical massage with Jen will be variable in pressure, depending on how your body is responding to touch that day. Some days, for some areas, deep may be what you need. Another moment, the body may release with a lighter touch. She will work with you to get to that optimal place to restore balance, assist in healing, and promote release for each session.

Over the course of her career, Jen has taken advantage of incredible training opportunities with Brian Utting, one of the top massage teachers in the country, with Pacific Northwest School of Massage. Coursework in Deep Tissue Massage of the Shoulders, Neck, Back, Legs, and Lumbar Ligaments have honed her skills for precise and effective deep work to help facilitate muscle release and help eliminate pain.  She also has training in Positional Release Technique, Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, Balinese, Thai, and Hot Stone/Geothermal Massage.

Jen earned a BA in Environmental Studies from Rollins College (1996) and is a graduate The Good Medicine School of Massage in Whitefish, Montana (2008), maintains Massage Therapy License with the State of Montana,  and also is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.  She completed 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training locally with Shanti Yoga Studio in 2017 and is available to assist clients with Yoga to help them care for their bodies and address their areas of concern.  In 2020, she completed an additional 200 hour Yoga Training with the Grief Support Network to Facilitate Mindful Grieving Yoga Therapy Programs. Visit www.apanii.org for more information.

She has serviced a wide array of clients during her tenure, with the goal to assist each person to optimize their health and well being. Jen also strives to take exceptional care of herself through massage, yoga, acupuncture, exercise in the beautiful mountain landscape, whole food nutrition, and willingly offers insights and referrals to other therapies that can further assist her clients on their healing journey.  Jen is the owner of Whitefish Massage Therapy.
